God Keeps Adding Shoe Boxes!

11/24/2017

Dear Operation Christmas Child Participants,

At this time of Thanksgiving, I am thanking God for all of you and your encouragement to your churches, schools, troops and organizations to pack Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.  This year at our Loudoun Collection Center, the 2 tractor trailer trucks left our area with 13,152 shoe boxes from Loudoun and northern Fairfax Counties.  That is about 500 more than last year!

Those boxes are beginning their journey to children in over 100 countries around the world.  Each of these children will not only receive gifts, but the THE GREATEST GIFT - the message of Jesus and salvation!  As we packed boxes, thousands of volunteers all over the world are getting trained and prepared to also teach THE GREATEST JOURNEY - a 12 lesson discipleship program that again encourages children to accept Jesus as their personal Savior, and also to share their faith with their family and friends.  It is estimated that every shoe box reaches 7 people with the message of salvation - so praise God for the 92,064 people whose lives may be changed because of the boxes from our area!!

Please pray for the children who get your boxes and their families!
