SUN April 14 Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist, 11:00 a.m.
Join us as we welcome Jesus to Jerusalem with palms and shouts of Hosanna, and then follow him to the cross on Mt. Calvary. Fr. Ralph will lead our service of Holy Eucharist this morning, which includes special music, followed by fellowship in our Parish Hall.
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
THU April 18 Maundy Thursday
Light Vegetarian Potluck, 6:30 p.m.
Remembering the Last Supper in the Parish Hall. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.
“Peace is my last gift to you, my own peace I now leave with you.”
Worship Service, 7:15 p.m.
A traditional Maundy Thursday worship service with readings, hymns, psalms, and Holy Communion followed by the Stripping of the Altar.
“Peace which the world cannot give, I give to you.”
FRI April 19 Good Friday
Stations of the Cross, 6:30 p.m.
We meet on the patio to join our Lord as we walk our outdoor pathway of the cross with readings, prayer, and meditation in remembrance of Jesus' walk to Golgotha, where he was crucified.
“For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”
Worship Service, 7:00 p.m.
The service continues inside with readings, hymns, and solemn collects as we pray for healing: for our nation and the earth, for ourselves, our souls and bodies, for the afflicted, and those that do not yet know Christ; concluding with communion from reserved sacrament.
“Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
SUN April 21 Easter Sunday
Festival Holy Eucharist, 11:00 a.m.
