Join us for our Advent Lessons & Carols service, with Holy Communion, Rite II for The 2nd Sunday of Advent, with the Rev. Deborah Rutter, celebrant and homilist, and Eileen Cawood, keyboardist, presenting Advent anthems and leading us in seasonal hymns.
Dear People of God: In the season of Advent, it is our responsibility and joy to prepare ourselves to hear once more the message of the Angels, to go even to Bethlehem and see the Son of God lying in a manger. Let us hear and heed in Holy Scripture the story of the God’s loving purpose from the time of our rebellion against Him until the glorious redemption brought to us by his holy Child Jesus; and let us look forward to the yearly remembrance of his birth with hymns and songs of praise.
Our LIVE service begins at 11am. Masks are now optional for in-person worship, but are still available in the Narthex, with hand sanitizer stationed throughout the church.
If you are more comfortable continuing to keep your distance, we understand.
You can still join us for online worship, via Zoom, using the following link:

The Collect of the Day:
Merciful God, who sent your messengers the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation: Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins, that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever Amen.
Readings for this Sunday:
An Advent Prayer: O Lord our God, make us watchful and keep us faithful
as we await the coming of your Son our Lord; that, when he shall appear,
he may not find us sleeping in sin but active in his service and joyful
in his praise; through Jesus Christ our Lord. . Amen.
