LIVE and Online!!

Alleluia!  Christ is risen!
The Lord is risen indeed.  Alleluia!

Join us for this service of Morning Prayer for the 2nd Sunday of Easter.

This morning we read about the the new followers of Christ who lived together in perfect harmony, we hear from the apostle John in his first letter when he declares that in Christ "there is no darkness at all", and we visit with the disciples in the upper room where they are locked in fear until the risen Lord visits them.  All but Thomas, that is.

Thanks be to God that the COVID numbers in Clarke County continue to remain low and we can rise worship again in person.

Our LIVE service begins at 11am. Please come early for COVID check-in, wear your mask, and listen to some joyful prelude music before the service.

If you are more comfortable continuing to keep your distance, we understand.

We still gather together for live, interactive, online worship, via Zoom, using the following link:

The Collect of the Day for this Sunday:

Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Prayer for the Future of the Human Race: O God our heavenly Father, you have blessed us and given us dominion over all the earth: Increase our reverence before the mystery of life; and give us new insight into your purposes for the human race, and new wisdom and determination in making provision for its future in accordance with your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
