The Collect of the Day:
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
The Revised Common Lectionary readings for this Sunday:
A Cursillo Prayer for the Holy Spirit: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of us your faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created and you shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful; grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy its consolation, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
