On this day, the Holy Spirit came down from heaven, lighting upon the disciples,
to teach them and to lead them into all truth; uniting peoples of many tongues in the
confession of one faith, and giving to your Church the power to serve you as a royal
priesthood, and to preach the Gospel to all nations.!

Please join us for a service of Holy Eucharist Rite II for Pentecost Sunday, with the Rev. Martha Clark, celebrant and preacher.

Potluck refreshments, coffee, and juice after the service!

Our LIVE service begins at 11am.  Mask are still available in the Narthex and hand sanitizer throughout the church.

If you are more comfortable continuing to keep your distance, we understand. You can still join us for online worship, via Zoom, using the following link:

The Collects of the Day:

Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

O God, who on this day taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: Grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things, and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Cursillo Prayer for the Holy Spirit:  Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of us
your faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit
and we shall be created and you shall renew the face of the earth. O God,
who by the light of the Holy Spirit did instruct the hearts of the faithful; grant
that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy its consolation,
through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
